Hidden cameras are used every day to help parents monitor their children while a nanny or babysitter is watching them. Knowing how well your kids are being taken care of gives great comfort to parents who have to be away at work or otherwise.

A DVR hidden camera can be set up in seconds and and the video can be viewed when you get home.  Simply use your TV to watch what was recorded, or insert the SD card to your computers card reader and watch from your computer.   Recording time varies on the settings, but most allow anywhere from 8 to 144 hours of record time.

Another hidden camera option is a wireless camera.  These types of cameras can even allow for viewing live over the internet.  You can watch what is going on at any moment.

Surveillance systems are popular with businesses.  Owners can monitor their employees, keep an eye on inventory, cash registers, etc.  There are weatherproof surveillance cameras available for outdoor use.

We’ll delve into more uses and different options and features of these hidden cameras and surveillance systems in future posts.
